"Babylite" like many other good concepts was invented for a reason. This reason was a vehicle accident whilst i was picking up my newborn from hospital for the first time ever. Like many people i went out and purchased two "baby on board" signs for the rear window of my car.

 Less than 1 mile from the hospital a very irrate driver ran in to the back of me pushing me about 50 meters in to a junction. When i had check my child was alright i finally calmed down, I asked the irrate driver " didnt you see the signs!!" he said "Everyone has those!" he was right... by the time I got home i had already invented the concept and set about making it.

This was 1992, so why so long to get "Babylite" to market? well, we had a lengthy court case with a well known baby retailer and when finished technology was changing. So we waited for the right technology so we could make the best product we could for you and your baby or child, and make it affordable.

So now we offer you a brilliant product that promotes safer driving and reduces tail gating dramatically! and if our product only ever saves one life then it's worth it's salt. Although we are quite certian it will save many!
